Can I make an event private?

You sure can. Private events do not appear on the OutSavvy website event listings or on the OutSavvy app. The events do however appear in your landing page and any widgets you use. To make an event private you can toggle the Private/Public control on the event Dashboard.


If you need an extra level of security for your events then you can add a password to your event so only customers who have the password can access the event. You can add or change the password on an event by going to the Dashboard navigation and going to Event > Edit Event. Make sure the private event checkbox is checked and then you are able to enter an event password up to 40 characters long (if you really want to make your customers work for access!).


Your event is then only accessible by entering the event password. Once the password is entered the event is accessible for the remainder of that user's session.
