OutSavvy tickets for on location events always has a QR code for ticket scanning and check-ins.
As well as using the Dash app to scan tickets it is also possible to use your own ticket scanners. The ticket scanners need to be able to scan QR codes.
Each ticket has it's own unique id that is in the format of a GUID. The foramt of a GUID is a string of 32 hexadecimal characters, arranged in groups separated by hyphens: 8-4-4-4-12. This format results in a 36-character string, including the hyphens.
To download the unique ticket codes to upload into your scanners you will need to access the Dashboard of your event and then browse to Event Reporting > Event Report. Make sure you tick the option 'Ticket QR Code' alongside any other data you need. Press the Download button to download a CSV file of the data including the Ticket QR Code column whihc can then be uplaoded into your scanner.
Guests arriving may print out their ticket which includes the unique QR code but also on the OutSavvy app which includes the same QR code as paper tickes.
