How do I add a Facebook tracking pixel?

It is really simple to add a Facebook tracking pixel to events on OutSavvy. Firstly, you will need to create a Facebook pixel tracking id in your Facebook Business account:

 

1. Log in to your Facebook Business Manager account.

2. Select Business Manager and Click Pixels.

3. Click Create a Pixel.

4. Name your Facebook Pixel.

5. Save your Facebook Pixel ID.

The Facebook Pixel ID you should enter is the value in “fbq(‘init’, 'xxxxxxxxx')” or “src=”https://www.facebook.com/tr?id=xxxxxxxxx". The pixel ID is usually 15-16 digit’s long.

 

Now the pixel is created you will need to add the pixel to OutSavvy. Navigate to Event Reports > Tracking Pixels in the Dashbaord menu. Any existing pixels are shown and you can edit or delete the pixel.

 

 

Click on the Facebook button and the options to enter your pixel will pop-up. You can apply the pixel to all events as they are created or enter a different pixel id into the system for each event. Once saved the Facebook pixel will start to track your event page, adding tickets to the basket event plus payment.
