Taking a payment with Tap to Pay only takes a few steps.
- Open the OutSavvy Dash app and select your event
- Choose the option to sell tickets
- Select the tickets your customer would like to purchase
- Continue to payment and choose Tap to Pay
- Check the amount with your customer before starting the payment
- When prompted, ask the customer to hold their contactless card, phone or other supported payment device against your phone
Keep the card or device in position until the payment has finished processing. Dash will let you know when the payment has been successfully completed. Any errors taking the payment will be shown on screen. You will see a success message displayed on screen when taking a successful payment and you can choose to view the order or continue to take payments.
Don't give the customer their tickets or consider the payment complete until you see the successful payment confirmation in Dash.
