Customers can pay using supported contactless debit and credit cards, including Visa, Mastercard and American Express.
Customers can also use supported digital wallets such as Apple Pay and Google Pay by tapping their phone or compatible device against yours.
The payment works in much the same way as tapping a card on a normal contactless card reader.
For some payments, the customer may be asked to complete an additional verification step on their device.
